Good preview. The Jets are in for a much tougher test tonight than in Edmonton. One of their tendencies last year was to play lousy against lousy teams (most of the SE div) and good against the likes of Boston. Hopefully being in a tougher divsion this year will result in more consistent effort every night. Looking forward to tonight's game. Go Jets!

Yea I've heard something about this...you just basically boo the team's best player or something of the like. I believe two years ago when the Kings played at MTS they were booing Anze Kopitar and King fans could not figure out why.

I don't at all have a problem with it but I know it rubs some people the wrong way.

Quite frankly I see no difference between that and the King fans chanting "Hey XXXX Fans. YOU SUCK." 4 or 5 times. What makes each fanbase different and unique.

And if I have to boo Kane back from the comfort of my couch, you'll have no one to blame but yourself.

I remember when we boo'd Doughty two years ago, the Kings blogger thought we were saying Drewwww because of his run in the Olympics. He actually called us 'classy' fans (which was a first) until he realized from the comments on his blog that we were boo'ing haha.

I know some people take it the wrong way, but I think the fans are just looking for reason to stay engaged in the game as often as possible, ideally we would like to be cheering the entire time but with the Jets thats not always possible!

Good luck to both teams... Go Jets Go!

Thanks! Yes it's ever expanding as the season goes on. Hard to put some stats and relevant info on there after only a game in

Glad you like it though!

I definiteley like it .......it will be much more interesting once we're deeper into the season. I had to work and forgot to record the game so I didn't see the kick in goal till you showed it here. Should have been overturned, his foot was in motion to direct the puck at the net. I now feel the Kings d earned that win.

If we're going to get yet another bad call like that, can't beat a minute into the season. At no point did I have an urge to put my fist through the wall. But a month from now...

Yup. The plan from the start was for Sutter to go with Quick on the back to back.

Lines have stayed the same for both teams form game one aside from the Jets swapping Tangradi and Wright.

Mitchell will be in as well.

Im kinda for hybrid icing. But these refs are killing it. Calling dump ins that are between the red and blue line icing. Already getting annoying. I saw Carter was pretty pissed about one of those calls.

OMG. Lewis skated so hard to win that puck and then they blow it for icing after he gets there. These guys are terrible.
